Mango appoints new Chief Retail Officer

The Spain-based fashion retailer has appointed Katarzyna Niemirowicz-Majtas (Kasia) as Chief Retail Officer. She will oversee the company’s global retail and commercial operations
Kasia has been appointed Chief Retail Officer and a member of the Steering Committee, succeeding César de Vicente, who is leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity outside of Mango. She joined Mango last May as International Retail Director for Northern Europe, whose teams will temporarily continue to report directly to her.
In her new role, Kasia will oversee the company’s global retail and commercial operations, reporting to Chairman and CEO Toni Ruiz. She will particularly support the execution of Mango’s 4Es Strategic Plan (2024–2026), which aims to strengthen the company’s business model, expand its network of physical stores, and optimise the performance of its 2,960-plus points of sale worldwide.
“I am taking on this new challenge with the goal of enhancing operational excellence, driving profitable growth across our commercial network, and elevating the experience of our Mango customers worldwide, working hand in hand with an exceptional team”, said Katarzyna Niemirowicz-Majtas.
She has more than 20 years’ experience working in executive roles in the international fashion industry, including senior positions at H&M and & Other Stories. Most recently, she led the commercial strategy at H&M in around 20 countries, overseeing approximately 18,000 employees. She has also previously managed H&M’s Italian operations and driven business performance and profitability in Spain and Portugal.
