Designer Brands announces CFO transition

Mark Haley, the company’s Senior Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, has been named Interim Principal Financial Officer following the resignation of CFO Jared Poff
The Ohio-based company has announced that Jared Poff has decided to resign as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, with effect from the 31st of October 2025, to pursue a new professional opportunity.
Meanwhile, Mark Haley, the company’s senior vice president, controller and principal accounting officer, has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer with effect from the 1st of November 2025. He will work alongside the current CFO and the company’s financial and accounting leadership teams to ensure a smooth transition while the search for a permanent CFO is ongoing.
Haley has served as Senior Vice President, Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer since January 2019. He was previously Vice President and Controller from 2017 to 2019. Before joining the company, he held senior accounting roles at Conn’s, Coldwater Creek, SUPERVALU, and Deloitte & Touche LLP.

CEO Doug Howe also expressed his gratitude for the significant contributions that Jared Poff has made over the past ten years.
