As a sponsor of the national grassroots organization, Asics America will provide footwear, volunteer opportunities and health and fitness programming to the members of Girls on the Run's 225 councils across the country. Additionally ASICS America will engage its team of elite athletes in support of Girls on the Run and organize meet-and-greets with local councils. The brand will also activate its new partnership at the upcoming 2015 TCS New York City Marathon, where Asics America will serve as the official footwear and apparel sponsor.

Founded in 1996, Girls on the Run utilizes running to encourage and motivate girls, support lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. It recently reached a significant milestone in serving its one-millionth girl.
