Kurt Geiger #NoChristmasWindow

Kurt Geiger and charity Hope and Homes for Children unveil No Christmas Window. Kurt Geiger has pledged to donate its Christmas window funds to Hope and Homes for Children to help those in need

Around the world there are 8 million children confined to orphanages, according to Hope and Homes for Children, a charity working to end institutional care of young ones globally. To act towards this aim they have found a powerful partner.

This holidays season Kurt Geiger is taking a departure from showcasing high-octane holiday windows , and will instead donate the funds it would have spent on the windows to the charity Hope and Homes for Children, which works to end the institutional care of children globally. The No Christmas Window campaign will run during the month of December, when every pound donated before 12th December 2014 will be doubled by the UK government.

Neil Clifford, Chief Executive Officer of Kurt Geiger commented: 'We are thrilled to support Hope and Homes for Children and unveil our 'No Christmas Window' campaign. We hope to create awareness for this incredible charity, inspire others to act and raise money to change children's lives'.

Mark Waddington, Chief Executive Officer of Hope and Homes for Children said: 'For children all around the world Christmas is a time of wonder and joy. But for millions of children confined to orphanages and institutional care, Christmas offers no hope. These children have no love, no protection and no family. We are extremely grateful to Kurt Geiger for their support of our work and the 'No Christmas Window' initiative is just incredible. With the support of Kurt Geiger and their wonderful customers we will be able to help even more children in the future to keep them safe and loved'.
