When the brand appeared in 2005, there was an instant recognition that in this specific area all footwear looked the same, as boots were heavy and had an unattractive design. The challenge to make security footwear that is likable, fashionable, comfortable and that people enjoy to wear was immediately launched by the brand.

Soon the single color heavy boots with old looking design were replaced by footwear that could be shown in a catwalk. Now, the company produces exclusive footwear: applications and color of the linings are just examples of the things that can be personalized by the customer in any of the models. Besides fashionable footwear To Work For produces ultra-light, flexible, non–sweating and odorless footwear. On top of that all footwear fulfils sliding tests.

The company currently produces 1 500 pairs on a daily basis and exports all its production. According to Mr. Albano Fernandes, Director at To Work For, the aim is to be a market leader in Europe. The same source confirmed that since 2006 AMF has been growing at a 30% yearly rate.
