Global Fashion Summit focuses on innovation to turn barriers into bridges

Less than a month to go until the opening of the Global Fashion Summit, a leading international forum dedicated to sustainability. This year’s edition will focus on innovation to turn barriers into bridges
Organised by the non-profit Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), the Global Fashion Summit will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of June at the Copenhagen Concert Hall in Denmark. The theme of the 2025 edition is “Barriers and Bridges”.
The theme “highlights the dualities of this moment, where traditional barriers have the possibility to transform into bridges for tangible change. With new legislation accelerating, the boundaries between voluntary and mandatory efforts are blurring, demanding both courage and capital to seize this moment of opportunity”, says the organisation.
Designed to facilitate discussions and collaboration among different stakeholders of the fashion industry, this year’s Summit “will place more focus on innovation than ever before”.
To this end, the organisation will debut the Ignite Stage space, which will host concise, interactive talks featuring innovation-focused messages from inspiring speakers, enhanced by compelling visuals and followed by Q&A sessions. In addition, the Innovation Forum, launched in 2018, will once again showcase a curated community of sustainable solution providers and connect them with fashion brands and retailers.
