The US-based branded footwear and accessories retailer announced they will be opening 22 new stores before the end of the year.  The DSW store locations will be distributed across the US.

"Opening 22 new stores is exciting for us, especially during the fall season when we have such an extensive boot assortment to showcase. Expanding our store base allows us to grow our footprint in areas we already call home, while also bringing DSW stores and the DSW brand to areas where our customers have been anticipating our arrival”, stated Carrie McDermott, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of DSW.

With approximately 25 000 pairs of designer and name brand shoes in each location, DSW praises itself for allowing customers to experience the latest fall trends in men's and women's footwear. From men's boots to oxfords to women's boots and pumps, men's and women's accessories and a full assortment of kids' shoes complete the portfolio of products.

As of the 12th of August DSW operated 449 stores in 42 states, and an ecommerce site, http://www.dsw.com, a mobile site, http://m.dsw.com, and an interactive mobile app. DSW also supplies footwear to 374 locations in the United States.
