80 Sears and Kmart locations to close
Sears Holdings, in bankruptcy proceedings since October, revealed 80 more Sears and Kmart stores it plans to close in late March 2019
The US-based retailer has already announced the closing of 143 locations by the end of the year and another 40 Sears and Kmart stores set to close in February 2019.
Taken together, the closures are expected to leave the company with fewer than 420 locations remaining. Sears has estimated it has about 400 stores that could be profitable on their own if it overcomes bankruptcy.
