During the year, the company's domestic sales grew 7.1% year over year to 1.042 billion USD, while international sales increased 16.5% to 514.3 million USD. Direct-to-Consumer comparable sales, comprising worldwide retail same store sales and e-commerce, rose 16%.

Further analysis to the portfolio allows to highlight sales increases of 9.7% and 8.2% on the UGG and Sanuk brands reaching now, respectively, 1.299 billion USD and 101.7 million USD.

"Our strong fourth quarter performance capped off a year of solid strategic progress" commented Angel Martinez, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors, adding, "We believe that the concerted investments we are making in our brands, distribution platforms and infrastructure are leading to improved financial and operating results as we expand our direct-to-consumer footprint and elevate our Omni-Channel resources. Our sales and earnings growth were driven by strong full price selling throughout each of our distribution channels and geographic regions."

Based upon current visibility, the company expects revenues to increase approximately 10% over 2013 levels for the 12 month period ending 31st December 2014. When talking about the future of the company, Martinez added "We are excited about the direction the Company is headed and we are committed to capitalizing on the many expansion opportunities that we believe are in front of us."

Deckers fiscal year will now end 31st March instead of 31st December. The company will come out with results for the transition period between 1st January and 31st March 2014. The first 12 months fiscal year will commence from 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2015.
