361 Degrees gets ready for US launch
Chinese sportswear brand is aiming to launch some products in selected retailers in North America within the next few weeks. A full collection will follow next Spring
To prepare for the new market 361º Degrees has brought in senior experienced executives. Rich Bourne, former ASICS COO, and Jim Monahan, former ASICS VP of Footwear, are being cited on the news as the being the chosen people to launch the brand in North America.

Bourne managed nearly nineteen years of growth for ASICS America and Jim Monahan focused on product at ASICS, both managing high performance footwear teams in the running business during their tenure.

“We are building a brand in the US from the inside out” said Jim Monahan in a statement. “Our goal is to build quality performance product through extensive research and development while paying attention to the demands of the consumer. Our success in the US will contribute to 361° becoming a top five global sports brand in the future.”

361° USA will launch in October its first marketing campaign focused on out-of-home media featuring the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Kevin Love as well as traditional, grassroots and digital initiatives.

361° is one of the largest athletic manufacturer in China and was founded in 2003. The company went public on the Hong Kong exchange in 2009.
