Tofel aims to conquer new markets
Several decades dedicated to the footwear industry position the Felgueiras-based company to conquer new markets outside Europe
Company Baptista Coelho Pereira & Filhos, Lda was established in 1973 and has adopted the trade name Tofel. A family business initiated in 1933 by the father of the current owners of the company, with over eight decades of accumulated know how and experience.

In 1975 the company moved to new facilities and with over 130 people it started to produce exclusively for the domestic market. This would change later in the decade and the company would start to export to other markers, specially to France (who quickly started to represent the destination of more than half of the company’s production).

During the 80's with the consolidation of its products and the emergence of new markets Tofel expanded its facilities to better respond to the demands of an ever changeling business.

Their own brand Boat Docks, specialized in glove shoes, was born in the late 90s, always aiming to develop new products with a distinctive flair.

With over 80 years of connection to the footwear sector, and with exports reaching 90%, Tofel presents a well-defined relation product / quality and is looking to expand its business beyond the European market.
